One of my favorite parts of being in the wedding industry is meeting all of the amazing vendors that work together to celebrate a couple's first day as husband and wife! We’ll be highlighting some of these talented professionals in what we’ll call, Friendor (friend x vendor) Friday! These are the best of the best that we absolutely love working with on wedding days. Our recommendations to my lovely Bride & Grooms are currently all located in St. Louis but stay tuned, we'll highlight other cities shortly! ;)

I LOVE working with Ashley because I know my Brides are going to have AMAZING eyelashes and gorgeous glam look. I’m really particular about how I like skin textures to look on camera, I want it smooth but still able to show the skin’s texture and Ashley does an amazing job at making skin look radiant and natural.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is making someone feel their absolute best on their wedding day. You can instantly see the confidence boost once they’re ready!
What makes your business different than others?
What makes us stand out from others is the way we will make you feel on your wedding day. I swear, I feel like we are hanging out with our girlfriends and jammin to some 90’s music! (The best!)
What is your favorite thing to create? Why?
My favorite thing to create is a soft glam bridal look & an undone, romantic updo. It’s so timeless & *literally* looks amazing on everyone! I would say that’s our signature look.
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without? Why?
I have two things I cannot leave the house with- a good mascara & a tinted moisturizing lip balm. #momsohard
If you had to only eat one thing for dinner for the next year, what would you eat?
French fries. Hands down. I could eat them as a meal.
What’s one small business in St. Louis you love?
Elmwood in Maplewood has uh-mazing food!
Anna & Dmytro Get Married | St. Louis Wedding Photographer

J and I had so much fun at Anna & Dmytro's wedding a few weeks back!
The day started at their apartment where Anna and her friends were getting ready. Anna's friends did her make up and her aunt did her hair in a gorgeous half updo. Her dress, from Mia Grace Bridal, hung in the guest room where the lighting was so perfect to capture some of their lovely details. Whole Foods made the beautiful white bouquets with little pops of green.
After every one was ready, we went to Queeny Park where Anna and Dmytro saw each other for the first time that day. A short and sweet ceremony followed at the Ballwin Golf Club where friends and family stood to watch Anna & Dmytro promise to love each other forever.
The reception was full of many sweet treats, Chickfila chicken tenders, and other yummy Russian dishes. A family member sang to the couple while kiddos played with confetti filled balloons.
Anna and Dmytro, we wish you all the best! Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your sweet wedding day.

I have found my Southern Soul Sister.
There are many days that I wake up craving a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit or even a Blueberry Biscuit but here in the Mid West, we don't have such luxuries.
I was taken by surprise when Heather said the word "Bojangles". No one here has even heard of this fast food chain that graces the wonderful South with it's deliciousness in the form of Blueberry Biscuits.
Except Heather... because she is a gem.
She shares my love for southern foods, whimsical weddings, and boho Brides. Not only is Heather a classy gal with Southern hospitality, she's such a hard worker and genuinely loves each of her Brides.
The Bridal Parlor, is just a few minutes away from the Arch in Shiloh, Illinois. It was so easy to get to, and well worth the fifteen minute drive! Heather has stocked the shoppe full of fabulous, unique options for the non-traditional Bride.
