In 2016, J and I were invited to the Poitras’ home for a mini Valentine’s Day meal and games. Playing Quelf, was the first time we really got to know Zach and Candra. Since then, we’ve fallen more in love with them individually and as a couple. When Zach text to ask if we’d be available for their proposal it was a no way we wouldn’t be a part.
We arrived at the Grand Basin in Forest Park a little bit before sunset with her parents, best friend, sister, and his parents. Placing some of her favorite people throughout the walkway and having the fountains as the background, we couldn’t wait for this beautiful proposal to happen.
As you scroll through this gorgeous proposal, I hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed capturing these moments. Justin did an amazing job on the video, so before you scroll through the images, take a peek at that!
Zach & Candra, thanks so much for asking us to capture these moments for the two of you. I hope that as the years pass, you two can look at these images and watch this video and remember the love, joy and excitement you shared on this day. Congratulations!!
We love you both so so much!
Candra was convinced it wouldn't happen this weekend because her best friend couldn't make it in from Indiana. She was so excited and surprised to see her!
