J and I love hosting! When we were moving out of our tiny one bedroom apartment, we counted the number of people that had came over for an evening of games, or dinner, or a Bible study, and we had over 140 people visit in the two years we lived there!
When we started planning out our year with Bri Whitman Photography, we wanted to do more of the things we enjoy doing the most-- loving on our couples more genuinely and capturing more genuine and special moments through photographs and film. This Christmas Party was our way to merge the thing we feel the most called to do with what we are the most passionate about.
We had such a great time hosting a few of our 2019 couples and are so excited to hear that more of our Bride & Grooms will be working with some of the amazing, talented vendors that partnered with us! We are so fortunate and looking forward to the gorgeous weddings happening next year!
Rouge Events & Design is hands down my favorite florist. I can give Katie a color palette or theme and she creates the most spectacular, breathtaking floral arrangements. She created this gorgeous bouquet and festive wreath for our couples to use during their sessions. They looked fabulous!

If you’re into Ennegrams and personality types, I’m an Ennegram 3 wing 2 and I love having control on things, especially things that mean a lot to me. When I hosted this party for our Bride and Grooms this weekend, I was worried about so many things and making sure everything looked good and food was ready while I was away doing pictures.
That’s when Allyssa Elaine Events showed up with boxes of magic and helped turn what I had in my head a reality.
All of the couples met at Daniel's Farm & Greenhouse in St. Peters, MO! I had never been to an indoor tree farm, but when it started pouring, I was so glad that it was indoors. The staff was super friendly, and they had tons of trees, grave blankets, wreaths, and LOTS of other stuff! I literally just want to hug Daniel and Monica because, well, their establishment is the bees knees.

J is a bit of a coffee snob. He loves the process of making a really good coffee, and most days I really appreciate his bit of education in coffee beans. When I was scrolling through Facebook Marketplace fo a dining room cart, I stumbled upon Silo Coffee and I knew I had to have them at our Christmas Party! It was so fun pulling up to the house from our sessions to see them in the driveway and the look on our Brides and Grooms' faces! Towards the end of the night we had so much fun sitting around the fire sipping delicious Blue Print coffee!
