Three weeks ago I got a call from my frantic husband that his best friend's wife (who is also his cousin) was having the baby. Unlike most pregnancies, she was only 27 weeks along before going into labor. Filled with worry, we began to pray for the health of the baby and mom.
Thankfully, at 10:30 am was born a healthy baby girl. She was 1 lb 11 oz and 13.5 inches long. This tiny little girl made such an impact on us all.
She has stayed in the NICU for the last three weeks where she has continued to grow and become healthier. Mom, Dad and Grandma are staying close by in the comfort of the Ronald McDonald House.
