Lauren & Troy Get Married | St. Louis Wedding Photographer

Last October, I had chatted with a gal who’s boyfriend had booked a wedding venue for the following year and she was looking for a photographer. A few days later I received a call from her boyfriend explaining the situation and his plan to propose the following weekend.

Forest Park was packed the day Troy planned on proposing. Art Hill was covered with people flying kites, enjoying picnics, and taking in the bright red trees that line the tops of the hill. J and I waited in disguise for Troy and Lauren to come to the appointed spot and capture Lauren’s surprise as Troy asked her to marry him. A quick head nod and kiss confirmed, and the rest of the wedding planning officially started.

In the spring, at a mini session, Lauren and Troy told us of their new, exciting opportunity for them to move to Switzerland for Lauren’s job. While we were sad to see them leave the States, we have enjoyed living vicariously through their instagram posts and can’t wait until baby Rhett is here and we can travel to visit them in person!!

Over the last year, we’ve gotten to see Lauren and Troy’s love grow deeper, and on Friday we witnessed the two of them join together as husband and wife (and Indy- their sweet puppy). Their vibrant, fall ceremony took place on the rooftop of the gorgeous Bissinger’s Caramel Room with acoustic guitarist, Chris Johnson playing and Troy’s father, Paul, preforming the ceremony. The evening was completed inside with glow lights and dancing with DJ, Alex Breuer. Natalie’s Brides lead the day with excellent coordination, and Rouge Events & Design delivered some stunning flowers and displays, as always!

Take a peak at some of their amazing day!

Tad & Jessica Get Married! | St. Louis Wedding Photographer

From the first time we sat down with Tad and Jessica for ice cream, we knew these two were something special. Their wedding day was no different!  We've had the privilege of watching their love grow, as we met with them multiple times during their engagement season. Our prayer, is that their love for one another will never stop growing and evolving as the two of them continue to grow and evolve as the people Christ has called you to be.

Their wedding day was at gorgeous outdoor venue, The Lalumondiere Mill & Rivergardens in House Springs, Missouri. Events by Rouge designed the beautiful bouquets, boutonni√®res, and the table centerpieces. Jessica's flowers were filled with pink roses, peonies, a succulent and greenery.

Jessica found her wedding gown at Simply Elegant Bridal and Nina shoes at Dillard's. Tad and the groomsmen used Men's Wearhouse for their suits. The bridesmaids all wore navy dresses from varying places. TC & Company, from Maryland Heights, did t…

Brett & Racquel's Wedding | St. Louis Wedding Photographer & Videographer

"Never having to say 'goodbye' any more."
Was both Brett & Racquel's answer when I asked what they were most looking forward to in marriage.
At the beautiful Redemption Ranch in Winfield, Missouri, Brett & Racquel had the sweetest Christ centered wedding that reminded us why we love weddings and marriage just so much.
Racquel wore a stunning lace gown with a crystal belt that tied in a flowing blush bow and a greenery floral crown. Her bridesmaids wore varying shades of grey dresses that complimented the groomsmen's grey pants, white shirts, and blush bow ties. Brett wore a full grey suit with a blush bow tie, fun socks, and his grandfather's watch.
Before the ceremony, each Bridesmaid and Racquel's mom prayed a prayer of blessing over Racquel and Brett's marriage. This was the start of my tears for the day. The next set came as Scott, Racquel's dad, walked her down the aisle and everyone in the room could feel the excitement and s…

Janelle & Jon Get Married | St. Charles Wedding Photo & Video

Back in 2010, I took yearbook, a class I considered to be a “blow off class.” One of my assignments required I take pictures of the homecoming parade. That sparked my love for photography and capturing emotions to tell a story through candids. In that yearbook class, I met the amiable Janelle.

In 2011, she messaged and asked if I would do her senior pictures. In 2012, I took her family’s photos. In 2014, I took her brother Derek's senior pictures. In 2016, Janelle had a beautiful baby girl, Delilah, and I took her newborn photos. In 2017, I had several mini sessions with Delilah and Janelle. During one memorable mini session in the fall I met Jonathon. In 2018, Janelle sent me a message through my website about her wedding day. I still remember opening that email in the car and the tears pouring down when she said she couldn't imagine any other photographer capturing her wedding day.
Over almost a decade I've gotten to be really invested in her life, cheering her on as s…
