Less than 15 minutes away from my home in St.Charles, tucked away behind a tree line sits a gorgeous stone home and massive sycamore hall.
Originally owned by the Cottle family more than 200 years ago, the Stone House offers a place for intimate wedding ceremonies or can be used as a stunning Bridal suite. Decked in Restoration Hardware furniture, the home still includes original features like a hand carved mantle given to the Cottle family by Daniel Boone.
The Stone House is impressive, but the Sycamore Hall is absolutely breathtaking! Designed by Ruth herself and built by Mennonites from Pennsylvania, it is unlike any event space in the area. The Sycamore Hall seats 400 people in 72 inch rounds or long farmhouse tables.
While the Old Stone House of St. Charles is booked for the majority of 2018, you can learn more about the event space here.
