Josh & Kait are Married | St. Charles Wedding Photographer

One of my favorite shows to watch as a teenager was TLC's Four Weddings. If you've never seen it, it's four Brides agreeing to go to each other's weddings, judging them on multiple categories, and the one with the most points wins a honeymoon. Sounds ridiculous, right? Yeah. It is. But for whatever reason, I enjoyed it.

J goes to a lot of weddings with me to carry bags and help organize large families, but it never fails to make me laugh when he gets in the car and says, "That was probably one of my top five favorites." Keep in mind, he says this every time... so I asked him what his judging categories are.

The Bride & Groom
The Venue
The Amount of Fun at the Reception
The Minister's Message during the Ceremony
The Cake

He says this wedding made his list for sure.

For starters, Josh & Kait are an amazing couple. Josh is hysterical, and Kait has an adorable laugh. They are both truly brilliant people, both engineers. They are kind, sweet, and full of charisma. Josh cares for Kait in a way not too many men do. He's chivalrous- always making sure she knows how gorgeous she is, that she's warm and has enough food. It's beyond precious. Kait is perfect. She's tender-hearted and warm. She respects Josh in the most darling way, caring for him and loving those he loves. She is classy and personable. She's just someone you want to be around.

When we pray in the morning for our couples, we ask that God would let their love be a reflection of His love for His church and others would be won over without words, but by watching their behavior. When we look at Josh & Kait, we see this prayer in action. They are magnetic people and I'm so very thankful for their love for one another.

Their entire wedding was stunning. The venue was at the Old Stone Chapel in St. Charles, MO which always makes for a lovely, intimate wedding. The minister at their ceremony had a lovely message about planning for a strong, healthy marriage.

The reception was probably my favorite part. Josh was in a fraternity in college so his brothers all sang in a circle around Kait. It was as darling as it sounds. But here's what takes the cake, they had Cold Stone Ice Cream! (Ha! See what I did there.) It was amazing, and totally adorable to watch them mix their own ice creams.

Josh & Kait, if you can't tell, we're your biggest fans. We love you both so dearly! <3 <3 <3
